Anaemia

Astrological factors of Anemia
In this disease, R.B.C content of blood is less then the normal requisite quantity leading to idleness, lack of zeal, mental depression, a negative view towards life etc. In Astrology, the significator for this is Mars which, if weak or afflicted by malefics and/or posted in evil houses e.g. sixth, eighth or twelfth of the natal chart or the corresponding signs in the Zodiac is likely to result in the development of this disease. With this, the strength of the Ascendant and its lord as well as the Moon which is the significator of the liquid portion of blood should also be taken into account. The principle is illustrated in the following case: -

Case 1:

Jup 5®

Ketu 26

Moon 24

Mars 8 ®
Birth: - 12/01/1978
8:10 P.M.
(Kolkata)

Asc
Sat 10®

Rahu 13
Pluto 13

Hers 16

Neptune 18
Sun 21
Merc 19
Ven 20

Analysis: -
In this chart, the significator for R.B.C Mars is debilated in the twelfth house and in retrogression in the constellation of Saturn, which being the sixth/seventh lord i.e. secondary maraka is posted in the Ascendant in retrogression and in the constellation of Ketu. These two planets together with the Ascendant are devoid of any benefice influence; rather, the Ascendant itself is aspected by malefic Rahu. However, the Ascendant lord Sun is posted in the friendly sign Saggitarius in its own constellation, combined with two natural benefices viz. Mercury and Venus and aspected by the most important natural benefice Jupiter in the constellation of Mars in retrogression in the eleventh house and exchanging signs with Mercury. As the result, the native has an anemic tendency only, but the disease did not take any acute shape due to the good grace of the natural benefices.
