Astrological factors of Brain disease

In Astrology, Sun is the significator of brain; also the Ascendant and its lord in a natal chart and correspondingly Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac and its lord Mars rule over the head of the body. Brain is the source of the entire nerve system therefore, Sun is its origin. The nerve system being the mode of communication of brain with different organs of the body for transmission of messages or instruction of brain for different functions, it is Mercury which is the significator of the nerve system as it is the lord of the third sign Gemini signifying communication in the Zodiac. Therefore, affliction in a natal chart of the Ascendant, its lord, the sign Aries, its lord Mars, the Sun, Mercury and the related planet of the same group viz. Jupiter by malefics or rendered weak by position and/or strength is likely to cause different types of brain diseases which is illustrated below with some cases: -

The native is suffering from Migraine for a long time.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Libra rising with the maraka Mars posted in the Ascendant and hemmed between malefics on either side. The Ascendant lord Venus is debilated in the twelfth house combined with Rahu and aspected by Saturn from the third house. Sun, the significator of brain, combined with Mercury, the lord of the sixth sign of the Zodiac and Jupiter, the lord of the sixth house of the natal chart is deposited in the second house Scorpio and hemmed between malefics like Saturn and Mars. The sign Aries is aspected by the lord Mars. Thus, all the factors viz. the Ascendant, Ascendant lord, the sign Aries and its lord Mars, the sixth lord Jupiter, the planet for nerve system viz. Mercury which is the lord of the sixth sign Virgo, the Sun all being strongly afflicted contributed to the development of the disease Migraine in the native.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Saggitarius rising with the sixth lord Venus, eighth lord Moon, the twelfth lord Mars, the significator of head being the lord of the sign Aries and the Sun, the significator of Brain posted in the Ascendant. The Ascendant lord Jupiter is debilated in the second combined with the enemy Mercury and the maraka Saturn and aspected by Rahu from the eighth house but the cancellation of debilation is caused due to the association of Jupiter with the lord of Capricorn i.e. Saturn. Thus, the factors viz. the Ascendant and its lord and the significators Sun and Mars, all being afflicted by malefics as well as the lords of six and eighth houses and the eighth house in particular, the native developed Brain disease. The Ascendant lord Jupiter being aspected by Rahu, the disease took the form of Brain tumor.

The native is a child and suffering from Meningitis.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Pisces rising with the Ascendant lord retrograde Jupiter posted in the sixth house and aspected by malefics viz. Saturn and also Rahu combined with primary maraka Mars and the eighth lord Venus. The Ascendant is aspected by Saturn and Rahu. The sign Aries is occupied by Rahu, Mars, and the eighth lord Venus. The eighth house is occupied by Ketu and aspected by the lord Venus, Rahu and Mars. The Ascendant lord Jupiter is also aspected by the sixth lord Sun and the enemy Mercury which is both secondary maraka and badhaka for the Ascendant. Thus, the Ascendant and its lord and the sign Aries and its lord Mars, all being afflicted by malefics the native developed the serious disease Meningitis.

Case Study:-

The native is a victim of cerebral palsy since birth and was attacked with this incurable disease while in mother’s womb. He can neither walk nor can do any work with his hands and is totally dependant on his parents. By virtue of prolonged treatment, the boy can utter a few words at present, but other conditions are unchanged.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Cancer rising with Jupiter combined with Ketu posted in the Ascendant and aspected by strong malefics viz. Saturn and Rahu from the seventh house which means that the Ascendant as well as the sixth/ninth lord Jupiter is strongly afflicted by the three malefics. The Sun, the significator of the Brain is weak being posted in a watery sign and Mercury, the significator of the nerve system is debilated but debilation cancelled by virtue of Jupiter’s being exalted. But the combination of Sun-Mercury is afflicted by the aspect of Saturn combined with Rahu although a saving aspect of Jupiter is also there. Aries, the sign signifying head is hemmed between malefics and occupied by weak Venus. The lord of Aries i.e. Mars is aspected by malefic Rahu combined with Saturn. Thus, all the factors signifying brain and nerve system are afflicted by malefics giving rise to the disease but due to a saving influence of Jupiter, the patient shows a slow recovery.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Pisces rising with malefic Saturn and maraka Mercury posted in the Ascendant. Mercury, the secondary maraka for the native, although debilated but has gained strength by exchange of house with the Ascendant lord Jupiter occupying the fourth house. In the sign Aries signifying the head in the Zodiac are posted the sixth lord Sun signifying Brain, the primary maraka for the Ascendant as well as the lord of the sign Aries viz. Mars and fifth lord as well as the significator of feelings viz. Moon, weak by position and this combination is hemmed between malefics on either side. The system of communication viz. the nerves signified by Mercury are also weak due to the debilation of Mercury and also being hemmed between malefics. The combination of Sun, Moon and Mars is aspected by malefic Rahu. The sixth sign of the Zodiac viz. Virgo is aspected by Rahu and Saturn and also by its lord Mercury. Therefore, these factors combinedly make the native suffer from Brain disease.

Case Study:-

The native was a very angry man in his youth and middle age and could not control his temperament even on slight reason and had an attack of Cerebral Thrombosis after 50 years of age. Even after 60 years of age, he gets agitated on very small cause.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Virgo rising with the very sensitive planet Neptune posted in the Ascendant and aspected by the four malefics viz. the sixth lord Saturn, the third/eighth lord Mars, the twelfth lord Sun and strong Rahu in Taurus. The Ascendant lord Mercury combined with planet of sensation Moon and strong malefic Mars, both being strong enemies for Mars, is posted in the sixth house in retrogression. Mars in the sixth house is aspected by Saturn from the cardinal sign Cancer according to Maharshi Jaimini. The sign Aries is hemmed between malefics Rahu and Sun on either side and aspected by malefic Saturn. Therefore, these combinations made the native rather quarrelsome who is in the habit of picking up disputes on even the slightest matter. The deposition of Jupiter and Ketu in the third house and the disposition of third lord Mars made the native very impatient.

The native is born under Libra rising with the Ascendant and the eighth lord Venus in Cancer and aspected by Rahu combined with Saturn. The Ascendant is hemmed between malefics and aspected by Rahu. The significator of Brain viz. the Sun is in the twelfth house combined with Mercury, the significator of nerve and aspected by malefic Mars. The sixth house is occupied by Moon and aspected by Sun, Mercury and Rahu while the sixth lord Jupiter posted in Leo is aspected by Mars and Saturn. These combinations as a whole made the native attacked with Cerebral Thrombosis but gradually recovered by the good grace of Jupiter, signifying the divine power of our solar system.

Case Study:-

The girl was attacked with Tuberculosis and Meningitis and died on 11/02/2008. Her father died of Liver Cancer in Sept, 2007.

Analysis:-

The native was born under Taurus rising with the Ascendant/sixth lord Venus combined with seventh/twelfth maraka Mars and malefic Saturn in the ninth house and hemmed between natural malefics. The sixth house is aspected by Saturn combined with Mars and Venus and occupied by the third lord Moon. The eighth house is occupied by debilated Rahu and the second house i.e. the primary maraka place by debilated Ketu. The eighth lord Jupiter is in the fourth house aspecting the combination of Sun, the significator of Brain and Mercury, the significator of nerve and the primary maraka for the Ascendant. Jupiter itself is aspected by debilated Rahu and exalted Mars combined with Saturn and Venus. These factors combinedly made the native attacked with Meningitis, a disorder of Brain and died thereof. The death of the father of the girl can be easily judged from the fourth house of this natal chart.

Analysis:-

The girl is born under Leo rising with the Ascendant lord Sun, fourth/ninth lord Mars and maraka Mercury posted in the Ascendant and aspected by Rahu. Sun is the significator of Brain, Mars that of head and Mercury that of nerve system. The sign Aries is occupied by Rahu and aspected by exalted Saturn. These factors made the girl attacked with Migraine. The lord of the fifth house Jupiter is debilated in the sixth house. The fifth house is aspected by malefics like Saturn and Rahu. These factors combinedly generated in the native diseases like troubles of Liver and constipation and pancreas. The significator of hormone viz. Venus is afflicted by malefics like Saturn and debilated Jupiter which resulted in hormonal troubles.
