Astrological factors of the disease Diabetes

Diabetes is the disease which causes frequent urination. The organs involved in the human body are kidney and genetic organs. Planets involved are Venus, the significator of kidney, Moon, the significator of the watery part of the body and Mars, the significator of genetic part as well as watery part of the body. The houses involved are the sixth house as usual, the significator of all diseases, the seventh and the eighth houses signifying genetic organs as also the twelfth house signifying excretion of waste materials of the body. The signs of the Zodiac involved are correspondingly Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Pisces. Relations of these houses with these planets and/or affliction by malefics of the same are likely to result in the disease Diabetes. The lords of the respective houses or the signs together with the Ascendant and its lord should also be taken into account. The above principle is illustrated with the following cases:

In this chart, the Ascendant is Taurus and its lord Venus which is also the sixth lord is combined with the maraka (seventh/twelfth lord) Mars is in the twelfth sign Pisces, a watery sign, aspected by Saturn from Virgo, the sixth sign of the Zodiac. The sixth house which is the seventh sign of the Zodiac Libra is aspected by the eighth lord Jupiter and Rahu combined with Sun and Mercury from the tenth and also by Mars combined with Venus from Pisces. The seventh house is aspected by malefic Saturn and its lord Mars deposited as explained above. The eighth house is occupied by the watery planet Moon which itself is sufficient to cause Diabetes. The other two planets viz. Mars and Venus are also in the watery sign Pisces and aspected by Saturn. Therefore, these combinations rendered the native a patient of Diabetes in terms of astrological principles.

The native is born under Gemini rising with the Ascendant being occupied by Saturn and Moon, the two mutually inimical planets and aspected by Kendradhipati/secondary maraka/badhaka Jupiter from the ninth house. The sixth lord Mars combined with Ketu is posted in Cancer and aspected by malefic Rahu from the eighth house. The sixth sign of the Zodiac viz. Virgo is unafflicted. The planet Venus, although strong in its own house Libra has become malefic due to the association of debilated Sun and aspected by inimical Jupiter. The sixth house Scorpio although unafflicted but its lord Mars is debilated in Cancer in association with Ketu and aspected by Rahu. The seventh house is aspected by Rahu while the latter is posted in the eighth house and aspected by Mars. Thus, the planets Moon, Mars and Venus being all afflicted and the watery signs Cancer and Pisces being same, the native developed the disease Diabetes.

Analysis:-

The Ascendant here is Saggitarius occupied by the lord Jupiter combined with debilated Rahu and aspected by malefic Mars combined with maraka cum badhaka Mercury from the sixth house. Mercury is the lord of the seventh house of the natal chart and also the sixth sign of the Zodiac. The eighth lord Moon is debilated in the twelfth house aspected by Saturn as well as debilated Rahu (although debilation is cancelled due to the association of the lord Jupiter but causing at the same time Guru-chandal Dosha) and is also in mutual aspect with seventh lord Mercury and twelfth lord Mars. Venus is weak in the fiery sign Aries in association with its strong enemy Sun and aspected by Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu. Thus, all the factors responsible for the disease Diabetes being present in the chart, the native developed the same.

Analysis:-

In this chart, the Ascendant is Scorpio, the fixed watery sign and the eighth sign of the Zodiac. The significator for diabetes viz. Venus which is the secondary maraka for the native as being seventh/twelfth lord is posted in Capricorn and combined with Rahu and related in mutual aspect with Moon combined with Ketu in Cancer. The Ascendant is occupied by its lord Mars which is also the sixth lord of the natal chart in the watery sign. The sixth house of the natal chart is free from any aspect, malefic or benefic, but the sixth sign of the Zodiac is aspected by malefic Saturn and Rahu while its lord Mercury is combined with Sun and Saturn in the primary maraka house Saggitarius and aspected by its lord Jupiter from the eighth house.  These astrological factors combinedly developed the disease diabetes to this native.

Case 5:

The native was a bank officer and was attacked with diabetes during Rahu-Mercury period and the situation went beyond control.

Analysis:-

Here the Ascendant is Pisces occupied by sixth lord Sun, debilated maraka Mercury and malefic Rahu in the watery sign. The Ascendant lord Jupiter is posted in the twelfth house and aspected by malefic retrograde Saturn from the sixth house and also by Rahu. The Moon sign Aries is aspected by malefic and maraka Mars posted in the seventh house in retrogression. The eighth house is aspected by Saturn, Moon and Jupiter. The other two watery signs viz. Cancer and Scorpio are aspected by Rahu. Thus, the afflictions of the three watery signs, the Moon sign, the sixth house and the sixth lord being all afflicted by malefics, the native was attacked with diabetes.

The sixth lord Sun is posted in the watery sign Scorpio combined with Saturn. The main significator for diabetes is Venus which is malefic for the Ascendant being third and eighth lord and is posted in the eleventh house in Capricorn and aspected by Saturn and Mars. The native therefore suffered from diabetes.

The native is an Aquarian with the Venus combined with Ketu posted in the sixth house in watery sign Cancer and aspected by Rahu in opposition and also by Saturn. The sixth lord Moon is posted in the eighth house in the sign Virgo which is also the sixth sign of the Zodiac and hemmed between malefics. The other two watery signs viz. Scorpio and Pisces are aspected by malefic Mars. So these combinations made the native attacked with diabetes.

The native is a lawyer who was attacked with diabetes at the age of 43 years during Venus-Saturn phase. He is now a neurological patient and his eyes have been affected.

Here the Ascendant is Aries and the Moon sign is Pisces i.e. Moon is posted in the twelfth house. The strong maraka Venus which is the significator for diabetes is posted in the eighth house in watery sign Scorpio and hemmed between malefics as also aspected by strong enemy and afflicted Jupiter. Retrograde Jupiter is exalted in the watery sign Cancer but aspected by strong malefic Saturn and the third watery sign Pisces occupied by Moon and aspected by afflicted Jupiter. These combinations developed the disease diabetes to the native.
