Astrological factors of Blood Pressure

Blood is mainly composed of watery part and red corpuscles which are signified by the Moon and the Mars respectively in terms of Astrology. The Ascendant and its lord are in all cases the significators of good health. The sixth house and its lord signify diseases in general. The other malefic houses viz. eighth and the twelfth as well as their lords also contribute towards illness of the native. If the Moon and the Mars be weak and/or afflicted by malefics and are posted in malefic houses or related with these or their lords, blood pressure may develop in the native. Strong and unafflicted Mars together with a weak or afflicted Moon is likely to result in high blood pressure while the reverse or simply a weak and/or afflicted Mars may cause low blood pressure. Affliction by Rahu may result in high blood pressure due to excitement, anxiety while affliction by Saturn may result in depression causing variation of blood pressure. The same may also develop due to the affliction of the three watery signs as well as the three fiery signs. The principle is exemplified by the following cases:

Analysis:-

In Astrology RBC of blood is contributed by the planet Mars and its watery part by the Moon. Therefore, weakness or affliction by malefics of these two planets gives rise to problems relating to blood pressure. Affliction of the three watery signs of the Zodiac by malefics also adds to the problem. In this case Mars joined with Ketu and therefore aspected by Rahu occupies the watery sign Pisces, and is devoid of any benefic influence. Moon is in inimical sign Capricorn and is aspected by strong Rahu and weak Jupiter joined with Saturn. The Cancer, the first watery sign of the Zodiac is occupied by natural malefic Sun and Mercury in inimical sign, the lord of the sixth sign Virgo and aspected by malefic Saturn in addition to the lord Moon. Scorpio, another watery sign, is aspected by malefic Saturn and weak Jupiter. The sixth sign of the Zodiac viz. Virgo is afflicted by malefics. Thus, all the factors responsible for blood pressure being present the native developed the disease.

The native is born under Capricorn rising with Ascendant lord Saturn exalted in the tenth house in Libra and aspecting therefrom the sign Cancer. The second watery sign Scorpio is hemmed between malefics viz. Saturn and Rahu. The sixth house viz. Gemini is occupied by malefics Sun, Mars, Ketu and the sixth lord Mercury and is aspected by debilated Rahu from the twelfth house. The third watery sign viz. Pisces is devoid of any malefic influence, rather well-fortified by the benefic aspect of its lord viz. exalted Jupiter from Cancer. The Ascendant itself is aspected by afflicted Mars while Moon posted in the fiery sign and the secondary maraka for the Ascendant is afflicted by the malefic aspects of exalted Saturn and debilated Rahu. The sixth sign Gemini being a dual sign, the native developed frequent fluctuations in blood pressure.

Analysis:-

The native is born under cancer rising with the Ascendant lord Moon debilated in Scorpio and hemmed between Saturn in the sixth house and Ketu in the fourth house. The Ascendant is occupied by debilated Mars exchanging house with the lord Moon thus acquiring some strength and also squared by Rahu in the fiery sign Aries. The third watery sign Pisces is afflicted by the twelfth aspect of Rahu. Further, all three fiery signs viz. Aries, Leo and Saggitarius are afflicted by malefics either by deposition or by aspect. The sixth house of the natal chart is occupied by Saturn and the sixth sign of the Zodiac viz. Virgo is also aspected by Saturn. Thus, all the three watery signs, the three fiery signs, the sixth house of the natal chart, and the sixth sign of the Zodiac together with the main factors viz. Moon and Mars related to blood pressure being afflicted by malefics or by strength, the native had constant suffering from fluctuations in blood pressure due to the Ascendant being a cardinal watery sign.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Cancer rising with the maraka Saturn occupying the Ascendant and squaring its lord Moon. Mars, the significator of RBC in blood is strong in Leo which is, however, the primary maraka house and aspecting Ketu in Scorpio which is also aspected by the Sun and Rahu from Taurus. The third watery sign Pisces is aspected by strong Mars from Leo as also by Jupiter, the sixth lord of the natal chart. Mars itself is squared by the Sun and Rahu. Again, the fiery sign Aries is aspected by Saturn, Rahu and Moon, the second fiery sign Leo is occupied by Mars while the third fiery sign Saggitarius is devoid of any malefic aspect, but aspected by the two inimical planets viz. Mercury and Venus. Thus, all the three watery signs viz. Ascendant Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are all afflicted by malefics as also the three fiery signs together with the Moon and the Mars being squared by malefics. Therefore, a contrast developed between the strength of Mars and that of Moon thereby making the native suffer from blood pressure.

Case Study:-

The native is a patient of Diabetes and Hypertension.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Gemini rising with the sixth lord and strong malefic Mars occupying the Ascendant and fifth/twelfth lord Venus in the constellation of the sixth lord Mars and aspected by Jupiter. Moon is posted in the eighth house in Capricorn in association with Rahu and aspected by Mars. The sign Cancer is occupied by malefic Ketu and aspected by Rahu and the lord Moon. Scorpio is occupied by Neptune aspected by Saturn thereby activating the function of the sign Pisces which is occupied by the Ascendant lord debilated Mercury. Thus, all the three watery signs as well as the Moon, Mars and Venus being afflicted, the native had to suffer from troubles of blood pressure and Diabetes. The disease Diabetes developed due to Moon being afflicted by Rahu in the eighth house and the sixth lord of the natal chart Mars which is the eighth lord of the Zodiac viz. Scorpio, the second watery sign being posted in the Ascendant and hemmed between malefics.

Azma

Astrological factors of Azma

The symptom of the disease is breathing troubles originated either from cold, cough or movement of air in the body, particularly in the throat, neck, lungs etc. region of the human body. In a natal chart, it relates to the third and the fourth house as well as their lords. In the Zodiac, the three airy signs viz. Gemini, Libra and Aquarius as also the three watery signs, Cancer in particular, are involved. Among the planets, Moon is responsible of cold, cough and Mercury being the lord of Gemini; obstruction causing planets viz. Saturn, Rahu and Ketu may come into action. Mars, being a strong enemy towards Mercury, is likely to cause the same trouble when afflicting the sign Gemini. These houses and their lords, the signs and the planets Moon and Mercury when weak or afflicted by malefics like Mars, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu etc. may develop the disease Azma. The above principle is exemplified by the following cases: -

The native is born under Pisces rising with the Ascendant lord Jupiter in the twelfth house in an airy sign exchanging house with the twelfth lord Saturn in the watery sign of the Ascendant. The fourth house from the Ascendant which is the third sign of the Zodiac and also an airy sign and house of breathing is occupied by fifth lord Moon and aspected by Jupiter and also by Rahu combined with Mars. The second airy sign Libra is occupied by Rahu and its strong enemy Mars, which is the chief maraka for the Ascendant but aspected by Ascendant lord Jupiter which is also aspected by Rahu. Of the three watery signs, Cancer is devoid of any malefic influence but Mercury and the eighth lord Venus are posted in Scorpio and hemmed between malefics. The third watery sign Pisces is itself occupied by malefic Saturn without any external influence. The third house of the natal chart viz. the sign Taurus is aspected by Saturn from the Ascendant, Mars combined with Rahu and also by the lord Venus combined with maraka Mercury. Thus, all the three airy signs and the two watery signs have been afflicted by position or aspect because here Jupiter although being a natural benefic is by virtue of being the lords of two angles becomes malefic. The third house from the Ascendant is also aspected by malefics Saturn and Mars, the latter being combined with Rahu. Sixth lord of the chart viz. Sun is posted in the tenth in the fiery sign but also aspected by malefic Saturn from a watery sign is square. Thus, all the three airy signs, the third house of the natal chart and the lords, the Ascendant and its lord, the sixth lord etc. being afflicted by malefics the native developed strong Azma due to dusty surroundings and suffered for a very long period.

The native is born under Leo rising. In the natal chart, all the three airy signs and watery signs are afflicted. Gemini is aspected by Saturn from the second house and also by Mars combined with Moon from Scorpio. The sign Libra is hemmed between malefics like waning Moon and Mars on the one hand and Sun, Saturn and Mercury on the other. The third airy sign Aquarius is aspected by Mars. Again, the watery sign Cancer is occupied by Ketu and aspected by Rahu while Scorpio is occupied by debilated Moon and Mars, and aspected by Saturn and the third watery sign Pisces is aspected by Sun, Saturn and Mercury. The combination of Sun, Mercury and Saturn in Virgo is aspected by Rahu from the sixth house. The sixth lord Saturn is combined with Ascendant lord Sun, a strong enemy and also with Mercury, the lord of the sixth sign of the Zodiac Virgo, is posted in the chief maraka place viz. second house and aspected by Rahu without any benefic influence. Thus, the airy signs related to breathing and watery signs related to heart as well as their lords being occupied by malefics and/or the signs or their lord being afflicted, the native developed Azma primarily at an early age.

Case study:-

The native suffered from acute Asthma.

 Analysis:-

The native is born under Gemini rising signifying the Lungs, breathing function etc. and aspected by the sixth lord and a strong malefic Mars in retrogression and combined with the eighth lord and strong enemy retrograde Saturn. The sixth house is aspected by malefic Rahu from the twelfth house and occupied by Ketu in Scorpio, the second watery sign of the Zodiac. The Ascendant lord Mercury joined with natural benefic Venus is deposited in the fifth house in another airy sign Libra and aspected by retrograde Mars combined with retrograde Saturn and also hemmed between malefics viz. Sun and Ketu. The two watery signs viz. Scorpio and Pisces are also occupied by natural malefics. The sixth sign of the Zodiac Virgo is occupied by third lord Sun and secondary maraka-cum-badhaka Jupiter and aspected by the combination of Saturn and Mars as well as Rahu. Thus, the two watery signs out of three and the two airy signs out of three, the significator Mercury and Moon, the sixth house and its lord of the natal chart and the sixth sign Virgo and its lord being strongly afflicted, the native developed acute Azma.

Arthritis

Astrological factors of Arthritis

The disease relates to the element wind or Batha in the body, the variation of quantity of which gives rise to this disease in the organ as afflicted by the concerned factors. Astrologically, Saturn is the main planet as it causes all sorts of chronic pain. Deposition of Saturn in airy or watery signs may develop this disease. At the same time sixth house and/or its Lord and/or the sign Virgo and/or its Lord Mercury should also be afflicted by malefics. Moon and the sign Cancer signifying sensations should also be related to these factors. These planets or the other factors may also cause this disease when related with other malefic houses viz. eighth and/or twelfth house. In absence of any relieving factors such as influence of strong Jupiter or its weakness the disease may be intensified. This is illustrated with the following cases.

Case Study:-

The native had an attack of Thrombosis of eye and underwent a number of operations and finally restored his sight in Feb, 2007. After this, he developed Arthritis at both legs and at the waste in the latter half of 2007.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Taurus rising with the Ascendant and sixth lord Venus combined with Ketu in the third house, a watery sign and aspected by Saturn and Rahu. The sixth house is occupied by Moon and exalted Saturn in the airy sign Libra and aspected by the malefic eighth lord Jupiter from the inimical airy sign Gemini which is the primary maraka house of the native. The Thrombosis of eye originated from the affliction of Venus by three malefics Saturn, Rahu and Ketu in the third house, the affliction of Moon by Saturn and that of Sun by seventh-twelfth lord Mars. And Arthritis is caused by the affliction of the sixth house Libra, an airy sign by Saturn and Moon, the affliction of other airy sign Gemini, the primary maraka house for the ascendant by malefic eighth lord Jupiter and the third airy sign Aquarius by Sun, Mars and Jupiter by aspect. Thus all the airy signs and the planets responsible for Arthritis, that is Saturn and the other related planet Moon together with the sixth house and its lord Venus being strongly afflicted, Arthritis resulted for the native.

The native developed Arthritis at both legs during the fag end of the major period of Rahu but recovered to a high degree during the middle of the major period of Jupiter. In this case, the airy sign Aquarius - the eleventh sign of the Zodiac is occupied by the eighth lord Sun and the malefic Mars both in inimical sign and the sixth lord Mercury in setting condition and retrogression very near to its house of debilation. The Ascendant Capricorn, the tenth sign of the Zodiac is also afflicted by the aspect of Saturn and Rahu. The sixth house Gemini, an airy sign although free of deposition or aspect of malefics is hemmed between two strong malefics Saturn and Rahu. The Ascendant lord Saturn is posted in the watery sign Cancer in retrogression in the seventh house which is the secondary maraka house for the Ascendant; however, the strong aspects of the two natural benefics viz. Jupiter and Venus on Saturn are relieving factors. The sixth sign of the Zodiac viz. Virgo is aspected by three malefics Mars, Saturn and Rahu while its lord Mercury is conjoined with the eighth lord Sun, the strong enemy Mars in the airy sign Aquarius in setting condition and retrogression too, thereby increasing the degree of malefic nature. These factors combinedly developed Arthritis at both legs of the native during the sub-phase of Sun, Moon and Mars of the major phase of Rahu; but with the start of major phase of Jupiter recovery started and the native became almost completely cured during the sub-phase of Venus in the major phase of Jupiter; contemporary transit affects acted as additional factors.

Case Study:-

The chart relates to a native suffering from Arthritis and Spondilysis.

Analysis:-

The native is born under Capricorn rising with the Ascendant lord Saturn deposited in the sixth house in Gemini, an airy sign ruled by Mercury in the constellation of third-twelfth lord Jupiter which occupies the second house, another airy sign Aquarius in the constellation of Rahu and retrograde Jupiter’s aspect on Saturn is somewhat relieving. The third airy sign Libra is hemmed between strong malefics. The sixth lord Mercury is posted in Virgo in exaltation, but being associated with strong enemy Mars should have some neural problems. The twelfth house is aspected by Saturn and Mars. Of the three watery signs, Cancer is hemmed between malefics, Scorpio is occupied by strong enemy Rahu and Pisces is aspected by Rahu, Saturn, Mars and Mercury. These factors combinedly originated the disease Arthritis and Spondilysis both being related to the elements air and water according to Ayurveda Shastra, and the disease once grew very acute but due to the relieving aspect of Jupiter on the sixth house and Saturn as well as the sign Libra, the native started healing and is practically fit during the middle period of Rahu.

The native is born under Aquarius rising with the Ascendant lord Saturn in debilation in conjunction with Ketu and aspected by Rahu and Mars, although debilation is cancelled due to mutual aspect with the exalted Mars from the twelfth house. The sixth lord Moon is debilated in Scorpio whereas the third house is occupied by debilated Saturn and Ketu. The eighth house from the Ascendant is Vargo which is also the sixth sign of the Zodiac and occupied by Sun and debilated Venus. Sun being a maraka, the eighth lord Mercury is placed in the seventh house and aspected by strong enemy exalted Mars by its eighth aspect. Of the three airy signs, Gemini is aspected by Saturn conjoined with Ketu as also by Rahu, Libra is occupied by Rahu and aspected by Saturn conjoined with Ketu while Aquarius, the Ascendant is aspected by Rahu as also by eighth lord as well as the significator for nerve system Mercury. Of the three watery signs, Cancer is aspected by exalted Mars from the twelfth house; Scorpio is occupied by debilated sixth lord Moon but Pisces is occupied by the lord Jupiter without any malefic influence. Thus, all the factors relating to neurological problems are present in the chart and the native suffered from Thrombosis in the lower part of the body and thereafter developed Arthritis.

The native although possessing a sound health was a victim of acute Arthritis all over the body and had to undergo regular massage.   

Analysis:-

The native was born under Capricorn Ascendant occupied by third-twelfth lord debilated Jupiter and aspected by Mars and Rahu. The Ascendant lord Saturn is posted in the sixth house viz. Gemini, an airy sign in the constellation of Rahu aspecting therefrom the seventh lord Moon joined with Ketu, the twelfth house and the third house. The sixth lord Mercury is associated with strong enemy Mars in the airy sign Libra and aspected by Rahu. Of the three airy signs, Gemini is occupied by Saturn, the main planet responsible for Chronic Arthritis and aspected by Rahu from another airy sign Aquarius, Libra is occupied by the sixth lord of the natal chart and that of the Zodiac viz. Mercury joined with strong enemy Mars and aspected by Rahu which occupies the third airy sign Aquarius. Of the three watery signs, Cancer is hemmed between malefics and aspected by debilated twelfth lord Jupiter, Scorpio is free from any malefic influence while Pisces is aspected by eighth lord Sun. Moon, the significator of feelings is posted in the eighth house combined with Ketu and aspected by Saturn and Rahu. The sixth sign Virgo is occupied by the eighth lord Sun and hemmed between malefics. Thus, all the factors responsible for Arthritis being present, the native had to suffer from acute pain thereof and had to take recourse too physical massage daily.
