Astrological factors of Exophthalmia

In this disease, the eye-balls of the patients appear somewhat projected outside. This may be due to the result of some other diseases or relating to some genetic defects. The significator of eye in the Zodiac are the Sun and the Moon respectively characterizing the right and the left eye of the human body. The signs involved are Taurus and Pisces signifying respectively the right and the left eye. Correspondingly, in the natal chart the second and the twelfth houses function in the same way. The chief enemies of the Sun and the Moon in the Zodiac are Saturn and Rahu. Therefore, affliction of the respective houses in the natal chart and/or their lords and/or the corresponding signs viz. Taurus and Pisces and/or the Sun and the Moon give rise to different types of diseases relating to eyes. This particular disease owes its origin to affliction of Sun and Moon and/or the respective houses or the signs with Saturn and Rahu together with the sixth house and/or the sixth sign and/or their lords. Case Study:-

The native has her eye-balls somewhat abnormal and some neurological problem also. This eye trouble is termed Exophthalmoses.

Analysis:-

The lady is of Virgo Ascendant with the Ascendant lord Mercury (both in the natal chart and in the Zodiac) posted in the twelfth house combined with Venus and aspected by secondary maraka and inimical Jupiter which is also the twelfth lord of the Zodiac posted in the sixth house. The significators for the right and the left eyes respectively, the Sun and the Moon, are highly afflicted being directly related by combination /aspect with Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. The second house of the Zodiac is aspected by malefic Mars and the twelfth house afflicted as mentioned above. The second house of the natal chart is hemmed between strong malefics and is, therefore, highly afflicted. These factors combinedly caused eye troubles to the native and also neurological problem, the main culprit being obviously Rahu and the main victims the Sun and the Moon.

Case Study:-

The native had an attack of Thrombosis of eye and underwent a number of operations and finally restored his sight in Feb, 2007, after this he developed Arthritis at both legs and at the waste in the latter half of 2007. His eye balls appear to be projected a little outside. This eye trouble is termed as Exophthalmoses.

Analysis:-

In this case, the planets chiefly responsible for the problems are the Moon and the Saturn combined in the sixth house, the third lord Moon being weak and naturally malefic Saturn is being exalted. The twelfth sign of the Zodiac is aspected by Mars and the twelfth house of the natal chart by the Moon and the Saturn. The second house of the Zodiac is aspected by Rahu and that of the natal chart being occupied by eighth lord Jupiter. The three airy signs are, therefore, afflicted by malefics, the sixth house in particular. The sixth sign of the Zodiac viz. Virgo although occupied by its exalted lord is hemmed between malefics and also aspected by Rahu. These factors combinedly developed in the native the said diseases in different parts of the body.

Astrological factors of Bone Marrow problems

Bone is governed by the three earthy signs of the Zodiac viz. Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn ruled by Venus, Mercury and Saturn respectively. Correspondingly in a natal chart the second, sixth and the tenth houses also signify the bones of the native. Bone marrow, a soft fatty substance existing in the cavities of bones is, therefore, also controlled by the above signs and houses. Moreover, Saturn is the significator of bone and Mars signifies bone marrow. Analysis:-

In this case, the native is born under Gemini rising with the sixth lord Mars occupying the Ascendant in inimical sign being aspected by the eighth lord Saturn and secondary maraka being the seventh lord as well as badhaka for the dual sign Gemini viz. Jupiter from the seventh house i.e. secondary maraka place. Jupiter being the secondary maraka and combined with eighth lord Saturn has become strong malefic for the Ascendant. Moon, the lord of the second house and also significator of blood is combined with Rahu and is weak being a waning Moon. The combination although aspected by Jupiter can not be very relieving as Jupiter itself is strongly afflicted since the combination of Saturn and Jupiter is also aspected by Mars and Rahu. The Ascendant lord Mercury combined with the third lord Sun and the only benefic for the Ascendant Venus is posted in the fourth house and aspected by Saturn and Mars. Venus although debilated gets the debilation cancelled due to the association of exalted Mercury. The first watery sign Cancer is hemmed between malefics and aspected by Rahu. The other two watery signs are, however, devoid of any malefic influence. Thus, the sign Cancer, its lord Moon, the sixth lord and significator for bone marrow Mars, the Ascendant lord Mercury, the Ascendant itself, the significator for vital energy i.e. Sun, the eighth house and its lord being all afflicted by malefics, the native developed the disease. The mutual affliction of Saturn and Mars along with strong malefic Jupiter caused the weakness of bone and disease relating to bone marrow.

Analysis:-

In this case, the Ascendant is Capricorn with the sixth lord Mercury and the eighth lord Sun combined with Ketu occupying the sign Taurus, an earthy sign signifying the solid part of body and aspected by Mars, Saturn and Rahu. Mars is posted in inimical sign Aquarius exchanging house with the lord Saturn posted in Scorpio combined with Rahu thereby afflicting the second watery sign of the Zodiac. The other two watery signs viz. Cancer and Pisces are also afflicted by the aspect of Rahu. Therefore, in this case, the sixth lord and the eighth lord which is the significator of vital energy of life are all being afflicted by Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu caused the origin of the disease relating to bone marrow.

The native was born under Scorpio rising aspected by the Ascendant-sixth lord Mars from the sixth house. Mars is otherwise strong in position but it is posted in the constellation of maraka Venus which is the seventh/twelfth lord posted in Capricorn in the constellation of Mars in association with eighth lord Mercury and hemmed between strong malefics. Thus, exchange of constellation between Mars and Venus has rendered both strong malefics. Sun, the significator of vital energy is posted in the inimical sign Aquarius in the constellation of Mars and associated with strong enemy Rahu, the combination itself being aspected by the strong malefic Saturn thereby reducing the vital energy of life. Moon, the significator of watery part of body is posted in its own sign Cancer in the constellation of Saturn and aspected by Mars, Mercury and Venus. The third watery sign Pisces is hemmed between malefics. Thus, all the three watery signs being afflicted by malefics and the sixth lord Mars, although strong in position being rendered strong malefic due to exchange of constellation and having an trinal relation with Saturn and Ketu, a cooperating relation with Sun and Rahu and angular relation with Moon, Mercury and Venus causing the malefic nature of Mars being stronger, the native developed the disease of bone marrow which required transplantation, but before it could be done the native expired.

Blood is composed of red corpuscles and some watery part which in Astrology are characterized by Mars and Moon respectively. The three watery signs of the Zodiac viz. Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are also related with blood. Venus and Moon signifying sweetness in Astrology are considered to be chief factors responsible for blood sugar. As usual, the Ascendant and its lord, the Sun, the Moon, the sixth house and its lord, the sixth sign of the Zodiac viz. Virgo and its lord should be more or less involved in the disease. Benefic influence of Jupiter may contribute to healing while Rahu, if related with the disease, may aggravate the situation.

The native is born under Gemini rising. In Astrology, the planet considered responsible for blood sugar is Venus and the house responsible for disease is the sixth house. The planets responsible for blood are Mars and the Moon together with the three watery signs of the Zodiac. In this case, the sign Cancer is occupied by the lord Moon, debilated sixth lord Mars and Rahu and aspected by Saturn from the eighth house in combination with Ketu. The sixth house of the natal chart viz. Scorpio is occupied by Venus in its inimical sign and is aspected by Rahu. The third watery sign Pisces is also afflicted by Rahu, Saturn and Mercury due to aspect. The Ascendant itself is aspected by Rahu as also by Jupiter which is both maraka and badhaka for the Ascendant. Case Study: -

The native’s mother is a patient of high blood sugar, but by proper treatment the disease is kept under control. As the consequence of the disease she had on her legs a skin disease developed.

Analysis: -

The native’s mother should be judged from the fourth house i.e. the sign Libra of the natal chart since the native is a male being. Therefore, the Ascendant lord Venus is posted in the sixth house in exaltation exchanging house with the sixth lord Jupiter posted in Libra. Venus is aspected by strong malefics Saturn and strong maraka Mars, both being retrograde, posted in the twelfth house which is the sixth sign of the Zodiac viz. Virgo. Moon is combined with Ketu in the third house in the fiery sign Saggitarius and aspected by exalted Rahu in Gemini and retrograde Mars combined with Saturn. These factors rendered the native’s mother a patient of blood sugar. The twelfth house being the sixth sign Virgo, the significator of skin, is occupied by Saturn, the significator of legs, combined with the maraka Mars, the significator of blood in inimical sign the lady developed skin disease on legs due to impurity of blood.
